Where Faith Meets Real Life

Christ in the Chaos was born in the middle of real life. Not in a quiet office. Not in a perfectly color-coded planner. Not in a season of calm.

But in the beautiful, loud, exhausting, stretching, holy chaos of raising children, leading in schools, supporting families, and walking through life’s hardest questions with God at the center.

Christ in the Chaos exists because faith was never meant to live only inside church walls. It was meant to live at the kitchen table. In the carpool line. In bedtime prayers. In hard conversations. In moments of anxiety, anger, confusion, joy, celebration, and growth.

This space was created to help families intentionally invite Christ into those everyday moments.

Meet the Creator - Dr. Eliza Usman, EdD

Christ in the Chaos was founded by Dr. Eliza Beth Usman, an educator, curriculum designer, school leader, and faith-driven mother with a lifelong passion for helping children thrive — academically, emotionally, and spiritually.

With a Doctorate in Education specializing in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment, Bethany has spent her career designing learning experiences that support the whole child. She has served as:

  • Assistant Principal
  • Dean of Student Performance
  • IB Program Manager
  • Curriculum and Professional Development Leader
  • Designer of K-12 instructional systems
  • Faith-based author and resource creator

Throughout her leadership journey in Colorado schools — particularly serving diverse and Title-I communities — one truth became clear: Children do not compartmentalize their lives. Neither should we.

Academic growth.
Emotional resilience.
Executive function.
Spiritual identity.
Family connection.

They are not separate tracks. They are woven together.

Christ in the Chaos is the bridge between educational expertise and everyday family
faith.
